The Londonderry Offices on North Terrace

The Londonderry Offices built in 1857 by the 3rd Marchioness of Londonderry to bring together the administration and management of her pits, railways, docks and other ancillary undertakings. Later sold and used as the Seaham Police Headquarters. The building is now private apartments known as Marquis Point. The statue of Lord Londonderry in the photo was unveiled in September 1922.
