WELCOME TO FRED COOPER'S HISTORY WEBSITE

One of Seaham's finest buildings the Londonderry Institute was designed by T Oliver of Newcastle and built at a cost of £1,500 in 1855. It was purchased by Durham Aged Miner's Homes Association and converted to affordable flats.
