The Seaton Colliery Inn

The Seaton Colliery Inn was destroyed by bombing in WW11. In an air raid on Tuesday 25th October 1941 the Inn received a direct hit and was completely demolished. The Landlord's wife and a friend were killed and 12 injured. In this raid 558 houses were damaged.  It was later rebuilt as The Phoenix.
