The Seaham Infirmary

The Seaham Infirmary from the Terrace Green (partly obscured by the Harbour Casino). After it was discontinued as an Infirmary it was used to house Seaham UDC staff including the Branch Library in the "tin hut" at the rear of the building. To the far left is the Royal Naval Volunteers Club and to the right is Sebastopol Terrace.

This photograph by John Foreman is reproduced here with the kind permission of his wife Agnes Foreman.
