WELCOME TO FRED COOPER'S HISTORY WEBSITE

 

This is a record of the very successful Dawdon Colliery Division of the St John's Ambulance Brigade from 1949 to 1964. It has been kindly provided by Judith Younger whose grandfather was a member of the Brigade. The collection of photographs and newspaper cuttings were curated by her grandmother and provides a special insight into the importance of First Aid training at the collieries.
