Wesleyan Methodist Church, Tempest Road

This church was built originally by the Independant Methodists and called the Congregational Chapel. It was opened on 9th July 1856 but after many financial difficulties the church was dissolved in April 1881. Within a year it had been sold to the Wesleyan Methodists who moved out of their chapel at the bottom of Tempest Road.
