Register of Landowners 1873
Known as the "Modern Domesday" the Return of Owners of Land was the first comprehensive and complete picture of land ownership across England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland since 1086.
The record shows: -
- Name of Landowner
- Address of the landowner (home address not address of the land)
- Size of land owned (measured in Acres, rods and perches)
- Value of the land (gross estimated rental value)
