NCB "A" Group Offices on North Road (aerial view)

The NCB "A" Group Offices on North Road. The large building at the front was used by the engineering and drawing office staff. Behind in the nissan huts on the left were the Wages Staff of Seaham Colliery and in the larger nissan hut on the right were the Wages Staff of Dawdon, Vane Tempest, Ryhope and Silksworth Collieries.

To the right of the "A" Group Offices is Bessies Hole and to the left is the Masonic Lodge.
